What is GFC hair treatment?
GFC stands for Growth Factor Concentrate. Like PRP, it is made from your own blood. Your blood is collected in special tubes with activators. These release and concentrate the growth factors from the platelets.
The growth factors are then separated without the red blood cells or other components. What remains is a clean, concentrated liquid of growth factors only.
How does GFC help hair?
- It stimulates new cell growth.
- It helps revive dormant hair follicles.
- It improves blood flow and nutrient supply to the scalp.
- It promotes collagen, which also helps the skin.

Is GFC better than PRP?
Both work well. GFC hair treatment tends to give more consistent and faster results, because it is purer and more standardised. PRP remains effective when done by an experienced team with good equipment.
Not all clinics offer GFC yet, because it needs special preparation tubes. The right choice depends on your assessment. Your trichologist recommends the one that fits your hair.
