The Nairobi Hair Raising Conference was the first event of its kind to happen in Kenya having its debut on the 12th July 2016. This was once the most informative conferences that stylists have ever been exposed to. We had delegates from Uganda, Rwanda, Eldoret as well as different counties in Kenya.
The conference’s main agenda was to enlighten hairdressers on how to notice different forms of hair loss and when to know a case needs to be referred to hair loss experts. It was also a launch for an insurance product from AIG that is directly tailored for the salon owners/stylists to protect them from salon accidents as well professional suites.
“This event saw the world renown Trichologist and the president to the Globals International Association of Trichologists, David Salinger IAT from Australia lecture on Hair loss. Muli Musyoka IAT the first ever trichologists and the brains behind Hair hub Trichology Centre lectured on entrepreneurship. Dr. Keith Dindi IACSAM, MBchB,Mmed the first doctor to successfully perform FUE hair transplant in Sub-Saharan Africa lectured on Hair transplant and the use of growth factors to regrow hair.”
Unlike other events, this conference was purely designed to benefit the stylists and not to push any product. If you missed this event then you will have yourself to blame. However, all is not lost, Hair hub will continue to support the industry with such events in order to contribute to the growth of the hair industry in the region.
